The Piggery is a ground floor, barn conversion situated in Lydney, Gloucestershire. Hidden off a narrow lane, this old barn once housed pigs and has been transformed into a welcoming and cosy holiday home that enjoys the most breath-taking views across Gloucestershire countryside down towards the River Severn. The owners provide seasonal flowers, a tasty sponge cake for your arrival and tips on what to do nearby. The property opens up to an open-plan living room with an electric wood burning effect fire, a fitted kitchen and dining area. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and WC, and one single bedroom. There is a separate family bathroom and WC. The gardens that surround the property are packed with cottage style plants, and the ‘Virginia Creeper’ that cloaks the barn to make it a real hideaway cottage. There is access to a large meadow with a table, chairs and benches. Ample off road parking is available. The Piggery is a perfect property for those with limited mobility.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Piggery's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
There is one or more televisions at The Piggery. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.
