More about Tudor Cottage (10)

Sophistication and understated elegance, with a small sprinkling of contemporary and unique touches reign supreme at this rather beautiful and lovingly restored Grade-II listed, bite-size Tudor manor house, set right in the centre of Wells-next-the-Sea, a few yards from the quay and sea. This perfect luxury retreat with separate annexe sleeps ten guests and is ideal for either a group of friends or a larger family wanting to enjoy special times together in a unique and beautiful house and setting.

Boasting beautiful views of the garden from most of the leaded windows, this three- storey rather gorgeous pile, which is proud to be one of the oldest properties in the town, is perfect for those longing to experience the grandeur of a thoughtfully restored Elizabethan house. Being 17th Century and Grade II listed, it comes with oodles of character, which includes steep, but not-hard-to-climb staircases, beams, uneven floorboards and a fabulous copper bath in the master third floor suite.

The owner has paid careful attention to detail to everything and with luxurious and unique fixtures and fittings throughout, this is a very special holiday home. Traditional English panelling in the formal downstairs living areas, mix seamlessly with stylish contemporary fittings in the shower rooms, delivering a stylish and unique holiday home that will provide a wonderful stay for those wanting to holiday in a superb location close to the sea and all that North Norfolk has to offer. With a large rear garden and off-road parking right in the centre of this popular seaside town, you couldn't be better placed. And best of all, your pampered pooch can tag along too as the walled-garden is fully-enclosed.

The luxury master king-size bedroom suite stretches the whole length of the third floor and has its own dressing area and fabulous large bathroom with antique copper bath, whilst also boasting beautiful views over the garden and roof-tops of Wells. On the second floor there is a large king-size bedroom; while next door you'll find two inter-connecting twin bedrooms, which are serviced by the walk-in shower room or master bathroom. Downstairs is a further shower room; a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you would expect and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a reception room, sitting room and fabulous dining room. All of the reception rooms have open fires, perfect for cooler winter evenings. Outside there is further accommodation in a beautiful modern self-contained annexe. Providing sleeping accommodation for two guests; with a double bedroom, bathroom with separate shower and open-plan living space with fully-equipped kitchen plus breakfast bar and sitting area. For those who choose to sleep here, there is plenty of privacy.

With its beautiful flint façade and Dutch gable, Tudor Cottage stands proudly in its enviable location. The very pretty walled garden is ideal for enjoying al fresco dining, or taking afternoon tea. Why not pick up a book and relax in the beautifully manicured garden before walking down to the quay to look at the boats and watch the sun go down, or wander into the centre of town where you will find a plethora of restaurants, pubs and shops. Outside you will also find parking for at least four cars which can be secured behind wooden gates.

Tudor Cottage is perfect if you want seclusion, but also ideal if you crave being in easy walking distance of everything that is happening in this vibrant seaside town.

Guests will receive fresh flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival at Tudor Cottage.
At certain times of the year, Tudor Cottage can be booked without the use of the annexe to accommodate eight guests. Alternatively the annexe can be booked by itself for two guests.
