This is a beautiful detached stone cottage set in the owner's home grounds in the conservation village of Old Glossop. It is a charming property and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for two people, perfect for a romantic getaway. The well-equipped kitchen is on open plan with the dining room and the lovely beamed sitting room is restful after a busy day's sightseeing. The double bedroom is a delightful relaxing haven and there is a light, bright shower room, whilst outside there is a charming enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue, just the thing for al fresco dining. The access to the cottage is via a footbridge from the roadside parking area, setting the scene for a magical holiday in a stunning location.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Rowan Tree Cottage's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
