Valley House is a big detached house on the banks of the Grand Western Canal in the Devon village of Halberton. The house sleeps twelve people in five bedrooms, including a downstairs single, plus four bath or shower rooms. On the ground floor is a kitchen with small breakfast table, a dining room, a sitting room and a conservatory, with a games room on a half landing. Outside is a private garden with lawn and terrace with outdoor furniture and a gate to a seating area with picnic benches beside the towpath. Just 250 yards from a pub, Valley House is a comfortable place for a waterside break in Devon.
