Believed to be the oldest house in Chipping Norton, built around 1650 Church Cottage is a characterful property with many period features including mullion windows.
Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. Church Cottage accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Gloucestershire to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.
This charming cottage is brimming with original features: the cosy sitting room features a wood burning stove whilst upstairs there is an en-suite bathroom and dressing room to the bedroom making this an ideal bolthole for two.
Church Cottage is situated in the old part of Chipping Norton with views of St Mary’s Church offering a blissfully secluded feel, yet with all that this delightful market town has to offer just minutes away.
Chipping Norton town centre is a few minutes walk from the cottage with its famous theatre at the top of Church Street and the popular lido (open April - September). There are several good pubs and restaurants in the town and a newly opened Marks and Spencer Food Hall making light work of holiday self catering.
