Situated on the outskirts of Burton-in-Kendal and just seven miles from Kirkby Lonsdale is this charming 200-year-old detached cottage. Set within 12 miles of the vibrant city of Kendal, the cottage enjoys a peaceful setting with wonderful views. This comfortable and thoughtfully modernised cottage is full of character and has a fantastic beamed sitting room, wood-burning stove and outstanding views from its three bedrooms over the surrounding countryside to the Lakeland Fells. Diverse wildlife can be spotted on the nearby canal, whilst swans and other wildfowl can be seen along the wharf. There is a pub with restaurant just a short walk from the property, making this a well positioned home from home.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Wharf Cottage's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
