The ground floor bedrooms, 1 double and 1 zip link twin that converts to a double on request, are both en-suite with showers, while the fabulous fully open plan living/dining/kitchen accommodation on the first floor has magnificent views over nearby Skiddaw mountain which are best enjoyed from the private terrace. There's off-road parking for 1 car at the property, plus more across the stream, and 10 acres of wonderful woodland and wildlife to explore. For total tranquility with the lively town of Keswick just 9 miles away, Skiddaw is the perfect holiday base for a family or two couples to enjoy the glories of the Lake District at any time of year.
There is wifi or internet access available at Skiddaw in Cockermouth. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
