A stylish property with three bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms that has been lovingly created to provide a fantastic holiday cottage, Columbo Cottage is on the site of the former Police Station near the station, harbour and beach.
GROUND FLOOR
Open plan living area with a good-size sitting room with comfortable seating and a Smart TV (you can access your Netflix account and catch up on those movies!).
There's a dining area with a table and chairs to comfortably seat six people - it's always so nice to sit and chat over meals together when you're on holiday.
The kitchen is immaculate with oven, hob and dishwasher and because it's open plan, the cook doesn't feel isolated when busily preparing a feast (or even decanting a takeaway!). The nearby utility room houses a washing machine/dryer plus there's a useful ground floor cloaks/WC.
FIRST FLOOR
A charming twin bedroom, with accents of blue, has two full size 3' single beds.
There is a house bathroom with a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
A double bedroom with a king size bed has an en-suite shower room with double size walk-in shower, WC and hand wash basin
SECOND FLOOR
This entire floor is devoted to a superb master bedroom suite which has views over the town towards the harbour and Whitby's iconic Abbey, at the top of the famous 199 Steps. There is a comfortable double bed and dressing area with plenty of storage and an easy chair. A lovely en-suite shower room has a good size shower, WC and hand wash basin.
OUTSIDE
Always an advantage in Whitby, this pretty cottage has outside space with a courtyard garden to the rear with seating, so it's perfect to eat al fresco or just to sit, relax, read or catch up on sunbathing!
To the front is a small garden with a bench - a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun comes up! - plus the considerable advantage of private parking for two cars.
There is wifi or internet access available at Columbo Cottage in Whitby. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Columbo Cottage's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
There is one or more televisions at Columbo Cottage. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.
