Whilst staying at Underway there is plenty to do Enjoy the natural wonders of Exmoor and the dramatic coastline in this region There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor with highlights such as Dunkery Beacon and Tarr Steps an ancient clapper bridge The pretty Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton which are famous for the Watersmeet Gorge NT

Valley of the Rocks and the famous funicular cliff railway are also well worth a visit Looking towards Minehead visitors here can go back in time on the scenic West Somerset Steam Railway or visit the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle NT

with its beautiful terraced gardens deer park and watermill all making for an interesting day out

Further afield the North Devon beaches of Ilfracombe Combe Martin and Woolacombe are about an hours drive
