Located in a quiet residential hamlet this character holiday cottage, dating back in part 500 years with exposed wall and ceiling beams, offers good family accommodation sleeping up to 6 people. Walnut Tree Cottage a spacious, comfortable and interesting property is a must for those wanting to enjoy some quality time together in this unusual property. The large well equipped kitchen opens onto the garden with garden table and chairs for alfresco dining. The fabulous lounge with vaulted ceilings and wood burning stove is a cosy retreat after a day out exploring the New Forest. The property benefits from a peaceful secluded garden full of colour in the summer months. Just a short drive is access to the open forest at Wootton and close by the New Forest villages of Brockenhurst and Burley are within a 15 minute drive. Local convenience stores can be found in the village of Sway two miles away, or a little further afield in the bustling yachting town of Lymington or New Milton. The beaches at Highcliffe (sandy) and Milford on Sea (shingle) are both within a ten minute drive away. Please note the stairs are very narrow and the majority of ceilings are low!
