Tucked away and beautifully private yet in the heart of the village, this bright and airy contemporary detached house boasts superb elevated views of the Mill Pool. The spacious and airy open plan living space is ideal for relaxing in and is complemented by a smaller cosy sitting room with open fire. There is a superb master bedroom and balcony with glass balustrading overlooking the water. A family bathroom and further bedroom with Ensuite cloakroom completes the accommodation. The property also benefits from a separate laundry with ample storage for your beach, kayaking, walking and doggy equipment! The house is only a few steps from the River Dart and the beautiful Mill Pond where the creek has been dammed to form a picturesque tree lined pool on the upper reaches of the River Dart estuary. There are also two good pubs, a waterside cafe and village shop all within walking distance. Theres plenty to do in beautiful Stoke Gabriel itself, be it crabbing, kayaking, or riverside and forest walks. It also provides easy access to a wide selection of beaches, and is an ideal base for walkers to enjoy the Dart Valley Trail, coastal path and nearby Dartmoor. The Dart Valley is full of stunning little waterside villages to explore, and historic Dartmouth, Brixham and Totnes are all less than 15 minutes away, Salcombe approximately 30 minutes.
