Maple Cottage, a tastefully appointed light and airy first floor apartment overlooking the courtyard at Buckland Court is close to the pretty village of Slapton and the beautiful coastline of Start Bay in South Devon. Nestled in delightful South Hams countryside its location places it close to the world famous nature reserve of Slapton Ley, a 3 mile beach and several excellent real ale pubs. Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are within 15 minutes drive, both with interesting shops, fine restaurants, boat trips, sailing and much more. Totnes, a quaint Elizabethan town is 9 miles away and Dartmoor, with wonderful walking and spectacular scenery is within easy reach. Buckland Court is well situated for a wide range of indoor and outdoor pursuits including golf. A gate from the courtyard opens out to a sweep of grass and orchard (1.5 acres) including a large pond populated by ducks. There is a built in barbecue with picnic benches where guests can relax and young people can play outdoor games. Childrens adventure playhouse on stilts with a slide and swings and a pool table/tennis table in the laundry room for those rainy days. The cottages are very comfortable and well furnished and set around a pretty courtyard with summer hanging baskets and benches. The kitchens are well equipped with gas hobs, cooker extractor hoods, built-under ovens, fridges and microwaves. All beds are standard size (4ft 6in doubles, 3ft singles). The bathrooms all have a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC. All cottages have central heating, a gas fire in the living area and are equipped with iron and ironing board. There is a large communal laundry room with coin operated washing machine, dryer and freezer.
There is wifi or internet access available at Maple in Slapton. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Maple's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.

This first floor location has the benefit of a delightful outlook, with views across the courtyard and up the tree lined driveway.
