Gull Cottage is a gorgeous grade two thatched cottage, found down a quiet lane in the picture postcard South Devon village of Slapton. The perfect hideaway for couples wanting to enjoy all the fabulous beaches, walks, food and scenery that the area is famous for. Immaculate inside and out with stylish decor in soft muted tones, cosy fireplace, luxury furnishings and beautiful touches, Gull Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing and romantic break including a sunny rear garden, the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet breakfast or relax after a day out exploring. Pretty Slapton has two excellent pubs to try both with good food, a well stocked community shop and leafy walks around the freshwater lake at Slapton Ley. The spectacular 2km sweep of beach at Slapton Sands, stunning Blackpool Sands and walks along the dramatic South West Coast Path are all on the doorstep, as well as the lighthouse and beautiful coves around Start Point within a short drive. The historic port of Dartmouth is just few miles up the coast where you can easily while away a day exploring the cobbled streets lined with galleries and boutiques, enjoy a boat trip up the river to bohemian Totnes or treat yourself to some delicious local seafood. And if thats not enough the wild open spaces of Dartmoor and popular sailing town of Salcombe are both also within easy reach. With so much to do in the local area and such attention to detail at the property, a holiday at Gull Cottage will not disappoint. Large cars (bigger than a mini) will not be able to drive up this lane to unload - instead it's an easy 100 metre fairly level walk up the lane.
