New to the portfolio for 2022 Set in two acres of private grounds within the quiet western fringes of the New Forest National Park, with no close neighbours and direct Forest access all round, Primrose Spinney is a haven of peace and privacy. Comfortably accommodating a maximum of nine guests and two dogs, this sprawling cottage is reached along a private track amongst the trees. Wildlife abounds and many species of birds and small wild animals are regular visitors to this tucked away spot. The cottage has plenty of space downstairs for all the family to enjoy, with a large relaxed lounge centered around a cosy wood burning stove, a separate snug offering a quiet place for reading or watching TV, along with a comfortable dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Two separate staircases lead to the four upstairs bedrooms, all with garden views. Outside, the large private garden has a seating and barbecue area on the terrace, a gently sloping lawn bordered with pretty planting and two ponds. A gate behind the cottage leads onto the open Forest, with miles of tracks to explore on foot or by bicycle amongst the free-roaming livestock. A short drive takes you to Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve, with beautiful walks including the Avon Valley Path which runs through the site. Moors Valley Country Park, with miles of cycle tracks, steam train and play parks, is a must visit for families, and ideal if you are holidaying with your dog. Other local attractions include Libertys Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre and the nearby towns of Ringwood and Fordingbridge have a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants This thoughtfully-equipped, spacious cottage in its peaceful location is an excellent base from which to explore the New Forest National Park and local coastline of Christchurch Bay and the Solent. Please note that Primrose Spinney is accessed along an unmade track with potentially uneven surfaces. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults plus 1 child on the day bed in the Family Bedroom.
