Emcot is a wonderful, mid-terrace stone cottage, built in 1680 in Preston-under-Scar, three miles from Leyburn in North Yorkshire. The cottage has three first floor bedrooms, including a king-size double room. There is a first floor bathroom, a ground floor shower room and a sitting room with a south facing balcony. On the lower ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area for two by a woodburning stove. The boot room allows access into an enclosed, south facing cottage garden at the back of the property, where you can sit and enjoy a drink in the summer. There is also roadside parking available on a first come/first served basis, but which is usually available. Set in a wonderful spot, with so much to see and do in the surrounding area, Emcot is a wonderful base for couples, friends and families.
There is wifi or internet access available at Emcot in Preston-Under-Scar. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Emcot's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
