Set within the grounds of Porlock Vale House an impressive country property dating back to the 19th century Garden View Apartment is the ground floor of the west wing which was extended onto the main house
Access to the property is via a small gated courtyard the entrance door leads into the hall The large living room has a dining table and the patio doors mean you can enjoy the view into the garden and beyond whilst relaxing from the comfort of the sofa The kitchen has all modern conveniences two steps lead down to conservatory with comfy chairs a breakfast table with chairs and again sliding doors onto the patio There are two bedrooms one with king-size double bed and one with twin beds Both bedrooms have an en-suite shower room
Vale View Apartment on the first floor above is also let as holiday accommodation and sleeps up to 4 guests The parking area and courtyard to the entrances are shared but each property has it
s own entrance and private outside area
Dogs Up to two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement A supplementary fee of
30 will be added to your invoice per dog Please do not allow your dog on the furniture and do not leave them alone in the property at any time
Smoking The property is strictly non-smoking
Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 3 pm on the day of your arrival
Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests
Changeover days Garden View is available for week-long bookings from Saturday to Saturday Short breaks may be available

Many of the shops in Porlock Weir and Porlock are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm although hours are often extended during the summer season Conversely some shops also reduce their opening hours out of season
Minehead is the nearest town approximately 7 miles away
