Situated on the old London to Penzance coaching road in the delightful village of Mitchell near Newquay, this Grade II listed semi detached former groom's cottage has been built from local stone. Cosy, comfortable accommodation at The Wedge includes an AGA, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a sitting room and a lovely reading area. Two further bedrooms mean this cottage appeals to families with older children, friends or couples seeking to make the most of this holiday region. There is a sitting area to the front of the cottage, and the shop is just a minutes stroll, with a pub 2 miles away and the amenities and surfing beaches of Newquay 7 miles up the coast.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Wedge's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
There is one or more televisions at The Wedge. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.
