Located in a perfect spot for watching the world go by, Quayside Cottage benefits from views of the quay, Lymington River and beyond. The Town Quay, where local fishermen still offload their daily catch, is on the doorstep, along with bustling coffee shops, a fabulous dining pub and acclaimed restaurant leading up the cobbled street towards the main High Street. Here the famous Saturday Charter Market lines the street each week, and is well worth a visit. With two bedrooms and a refitted bathroom downstairs, the steep cottage stairs lead up to a comfortable lounge with the best views! The dining area overlooks the courtyard garden to the rear of the cottage, and the smart kitchen is well equipped for your stay. Outside, the private courtyard offers outdoor seating and a barbecue for al fresco suppers. A bench at the front of the cottage is a great spot for people watching with a morning coffee or evening tipple!
The bustling Lymington High Street is home to an array of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes to while away a few hours. A visit to Lymington Sea Water Baths located next to Lymington Haven Marina is a must for families in the summer months, with paddleboarding, inflatable fun and kayaking. Just beyond is the Lymington and Keyhaven Nature Reserve, edged by the Solent Way, which is worth exploring by foot or bike, and is a fantastic spot for birdwatching. The New Forest National Park, with its free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle, is just a short drive away, as are the beaches of Milford on Sea and Highcliffe, making this the perfect base for your New Forest holiday.
