In sight of the sea cliffs and with a glimpse of the sea, the light and airy Top Deck is found in a quiet residential street only 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre and Sea Front Promenade. Guests can park their car at the apartment and forget about it for the entire holiday! Top Deck has a seaside theme throughout enhancing the feel of its links with the historic town and is perfectly positioned to take advantage of Langmoor Gardens and the historic Cobb, a short walk away. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent UNESCO Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well!
