This brand-new, beautifully styled cottage in West Lulworth is ideal for four people and is dog friendly too. Located on the edge of this famous village which forms part of the designated UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lulworth Cove and the start of the coast path to Durdle Door, follow the coast path, and you could be heading towards the Jurassic Coast towards Weymouth and beyond or in the other direction, the Purbecks and Old Harry Rocks. For those who like nothing better than a day outdoors, there are many public footpaths, one of which ascends and descends behind the property with breath-taking 360-degree views of the Dorset coast at its finest. Remember your walking boots! Lulworth is also the perfect location for road bike lovers and MtB users, with an abundance of routes and circuits to choose from. The accommodation includes a sitting room with a Smart 55" TV for those wet days, a well-equipped open-plan kitchen with all the integrated appliances you need, and a dining area that seats everyone for those occasions when you all want to sit together to eat. The comfortable sitting room has doors leading to the south-facing garden with seating to relax at the end of the day exploring. (Barbecue and loungers will be available from the Spring) Two bedrooms include a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room, and wall-mounted TV with views towards the open countryside, while the second bedroom has a twin room with the flexibility of linking together to make a super king-size bed. There is a stylish family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The village enjoys a variety of amenities, including a village store (seasonal), pubs, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. You can also enjoy learning about this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage coastal area from the visitor centre, which is in the heart of the village. In addition, Wood Cottage is ideally situated for trips to the nearby towns of Dorchester & Wareham. Less than 40 minutes away, you can be on the beautiful beach of Sandbanks via the chain ferry from Studland. En route, you can visit Corfe Castle, or if you want to head to the coast, Swanage and Kimmeridge Bay are also within easy reach. The Tank Museum and Monkey World are also great attractions on your doorstep. The local pub is just a short stroll from the end of the road. Please note: Short breaks are available in low and mid-seasons from either Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday.
