The Snug is a gorgeous micro home converted from a shepherd's hut. If you're looking for bespoke luxury accommodation in captivating Cumbria, then this unique little jewel box is the perfect romantic retreat. The open plan accommodation includes a wood burning stove, wet room and double bed and the private seating area with hot tub is the perfect oasis for relaxing, unwinding and recharging your batteries. There's also an outdoor shower and fire pit - toasting forks and marshmallows supplied! - and plenty of off-road parking. Guests are free to roam the 3 1/2 acre site and use the tree house. Just 6 miles from romantic Gretna Green, 10 miles from stylish and historic Carlisle and within easy reach of the Solway Coast, Lake District and Hadrian's Wall, the Snug is the ideal location for a couple's break or to celebrate a very special occasion at any time of year.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Wifi available. Off-road parking. Private screened area beside Carwinley Beck, hot tub, seating area, fire pit (toasting forks and marshmallows provided), outdoor cold shower. Use of grounds. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, restaurant and pub 5 mins drive. River and countryside walks and cycling trails in the local area.
