New for 2022! Small Ships has just joined the Toad Hall family at Helford Passage! New owners have given this bijou, first-floor apartment love and attention, transforming it into a cosy bolthole for couples or for those with a child. Decorated throughout in cool, contemporary tones with splashes of colour and personality, plus new modern furniture makes this a super choice for your beachside holiday. For sunny days, you'll have the Bistro table and chairs on the balcony, and for chilly evenings, there's a log burner for you to sit back and truly relax. There's one double bedroom, and a cosy cabin bed in the second bedroom - suitable only for children. Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path. Theres plenty to do on site including hire of kayaks or paddle boards to get you out on the water, or theres the child safe heated outdoor swimming pool which is open from the beginning of May until the end of September. The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Mauriers Fishermans Creek. Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to historic and bustling Falmouth, experience rugged Lands End or the gentle gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.
