Little Bunting is a very spacious, two-bedroom, semi-detached cottage located in the heart of the village of Heacham and in easy walking distance of North and South beaches. Dog-friendly with a fully-enclosed garden, this pretty much ticks all the boxes. With a sofa bed it also offers the option of sleeping six.
This well-equipped cottage has many qualities; firstly it is a very spacious family holiday home-from-home; a couples retreat; or a grown-up base for two couples wanting to enjoy short breaks or longer stays together, especially as it’s just a short stroll from the local shops and some good friendly pubs. A year-round dog-lovers destination with fully-enclosed rear garden, make sure you bring your pampered pooches with you so they can enjoy exhilarating beach walks or countryside strolls.
Set over two floors, this deceptively large property has a lovely light filled, open plan living space downstairs which includes a dining area with table and benches, sofas and armchairs and french doors opening up onto the small garden. Upstairs there are two generous bedrooms; one king size and one twin, which lead off a wide landing. A family bathroom with separate shower cubicle serves both bedrooms.
One of just three properties, it sits quietly tucked away from the high street along a private driveway, and there is a bus stop right outside which will allow you to travel right along the coast and back via the Coasthopper service - simply perfect if you want to park the car for the week. Amenities are close at hand too including a doctor's surgery.
Heacham is a great base for a holiday on the North Norfolk coast and offers some great opportunities for exploring this beautiful area. Head to Snettisham where you’ll discover the fabulous RSPB bird reserve. Board the Wash Monster and see the seals from Hunstanton beach, or pull on your walking boots and walk the Peddars Way. Nearby is the historic port of King’s Lynn and HM The Queen’s Sandringham Estate with is glorious parkland is also nearby. On Christmas Day head down there for probably the best opportunity to see the Royal family up close. The ever-popular coastal villages of Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea and Thornham are within a very short drive as is Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham; often voted one of the best beaches in the UK.
