Bickton Mill is a spacious, comfortable, four storey town house which forms part of a converted 18th Century mill, located on the banks of the River Avon, one mile south of the medieval town of Fordingbridge and five miles north of Ringwood.
This attractive and spacious property offers flexible accommodation with stunning riverside views from every window, making an idyllic setting for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Bickton Mill is a bird lovers' paradise with black swans, kingfishers different types of ducks as well as many other bird species to watch in fascination from all rooms in this large house.
Fishing rights in the river around Bickton are actually owned by a club which is members only. However you can purchase day permits from the two fishing shops in Ringwood for several local fishing spots.
Being close to the New Forest National Park boundary, the area is ideal for walking, cycling, horse riding and of course fishing. The nearest beaches are approximately 15 miles away.
Please note the carpeted spiral staircases make this property unsuitable for people with mobility problems or small children. All children must be supervised on staircase.
