Langerstone is a magnificent holiday house in a spectacular position. Situated on the edge of East Prawle village with the coastal path at the end of the drive, the house is set high above Langerstone Point on the southernmost tip of Devon. The stunning 180 degree views over farmland and coastline to the sea, sweep round from Start Bay lighthouse to Prawle Point. Surrounded by spacious enclosed gardens, this superb home, renovated with style and imagination, features a fabulous indoor heated swimming pool complete with adjoining sun terrace. The spacious rooms are of the highest quality, extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. From the terrace, light floods through the large patio doors into most rooms, bringing the views right into the heart of the house. Everything has been thought of to provide fun for all the family, from the swimming pool to the table tennis table, big screen TV and the superb dining areas both inside and out. Here there are endless opportunities for memorable cliff walks; sailing, restaurants and shopping in the delightful town of Salcombe; exploring the many sandy coves; bird watching and much more.

Sliding doors open to the deck. The superbkitchen/dineris handsomely equipped and fitted with cream units, black granite work surfaces, a gas fired Aga, large fridge, separate ‘bio fresh; fridge and freezer, an eye level oven, warming drawer and dishwasher. The central island has an electric ceramic hob and built-under oven. A fine dining table seats 12 and Lloyd Loom sofa and chairs cluster around the sliding doors to the terrace. Adjacentutility roomwith washing machine, tumble dryer and access to the side of the house. From theliving room, steps down to a study area and desks with computer ISDN links. Corridor to the bedrooms, all with wonderful sea views, polished pine floors, large fitted cupboards and sliding doors that open to the terrace.1. Master bedroom suitewith 6ft 6in wide bed (zip linked base, cannot be converted into a twin) and private door into the indoor pool room.En-suite bathroomwith bath, shower over, separate double shower enclosure, basin in vanity unit and WC. 2.Twin bedroomwith 3ft beds.3. Children;s roomwith fine ‘Aspace; full size 3ft bunk beds with a pull-out truckle bed beneath. Family walk-inshower roomwith rose head and hand showers, basin and WC. 4. Stairs rise at the rear of the house to aguest suitewith a double 6ft bed , views to Peartree Point and anen-suite shower roomwith large double shower, basin and WC.
The Pool Room:The indoor pool (8m x 4m), heated all year, is surrounded on three sides by floor to ceiling windows and three sets of doors open to the sun deck with steps down to the sweeping lawns. There is achanging roomwith basin, WC and large walk-in shower with rose head and hand shower.
