This barn and wheelhouse conversion is a stunning property on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Many of the original features have been retained including the enormous old beam that once powered the mill. The inviting and cosy sitting room is in the skeleton of the wheelhouse and is a quirky octagonal shape with windows on three sides to take in the views. The modern, well-equipped kitchen has a bright and airy dining area and there are three spacious and peaceful bedrooms, one of them on the galleried landing over the sitting room. The modern bathroom is on the ground floor and there is a first floor shower room. This welcoming property makes a wonderful base for a holiday in this fabulous area.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Wheelhouse's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
