Outside, there is off road parking for one car and a bench where you can enjoy the view of the fells with a cup of tea in the morning sunshine. Coniston Water and Tarn Hows can be reached on foot, making Rambler's Rest a great base for a romantic getaway exploring Cumbria and The Lake District.
