Compton House is a big, smart, detached house in the Somerset village of Compton Bishop, below the Mendip Hills. The house sleeps 12 people in six bedrooms, two en suite doubles in an annexe and three doubles (two with en suite) and a twin with additional bathroom. On the ground floor is a kitchen with dining area and two sitting rooms with open fires. Outside is a big enclosed garden with a terrace, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and a games room. With excellent facilities and good walking in the area, Compton House is an excellent place to gather in Somerset for a break with family or friends.
