Set within the grounds of Gonwin Manor, Lavender Cottage is one of six luxury barn conversions. Close to Porthkidney beach and the Lelant Links golf course, there is something for everyone in this peaceful location.
Walk through your enclosed garden to the single-storey, open-plan living accommodation with its vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and contemporary wood burning stove. The bespoke shaker kitchen, complete with granite work tops and all mod cons, is the perfect place to prepare a romantic meal for two, perhaps with produce bought at one of the numerous farmers markets in the area. Two steps lead down to the charming double bedroom, with its luxury bed linens and fluffy feather duvet and pillows. The bedroom is en-suite so soak in a hot bath before hopping into bed for a night of sweet dreams.
The setting of Gonwin Manor is stunning, with its own private lake where there are breath-taking views to the beach and beyond. The pontoon is a wonderful place to end the day with a glass of wine and watch sun go down. Then head back to your enclosed garden for an al fresco supper cooked on the barbecue provided.
Lavender Cottage is a perfect choice for a romantic escape to the Cornish coast near St Ives.
