The cottage has been renovated but retains much of its original character, with a spectacular vaulted beam ceiling and floor to ceiling stone fire place in the living room. This open-plan area has solid oak floors throughout, while large leather chairs add an extra stylish touch.
Patio doors from the living room open out to the lawned area of the garden, where you can sit and just take in those stunning Snowdonia views. Adjacent to the living area is a large, oak fitted kitchen and utility area, with slate flagstone flooring. As well as a ground floor bedroom, a feature oak staircase leads up to three bedrooms with views of the countryside.
While you’re staying at Llyn Golygfa, you’ll be able to use the 5-acre fenced and gated paddock, with two streams flowing through the grounds and woodland walks to enjoy. You’re welcome to try your hand at fishing in the stream, but please bring your own fishing rods.
