Penlon is a beautifully restored miner's cottage, now Grade II listed, near the River Rheidol in Mid Wales, two miles from the village of Capel Bangor. The cottage has two bedrooms; a twin room and a room with bunk beds on the ground floor. There is also a shower room, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburner and a sofa bed. Outside, the garden is lawned with furniture and across the road at the front of the cottage runs the River Rheidol, across which lies a paddock where sheep are occasionally kept. In a wonderful position for walking and cycling, and exploring this beautiful, diverse region, Penlon is a charming holiday base for friends and families alike.
There is wifi or internet access available at Penlon in Capel Bangor. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Penlon's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
