The Shavings occupies an excellent location on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Just 2.5 miles from Buxton, this charming studio apartment is set on the ground floor of an old stone barn on a working farm in the hamlet of Cowdale. The Shavings' welcoming and comfortable accommodation includes an open plan studio room with a 4ft double bed, a well equipped fitted kitchen area with breakfast bar and a sitting area. There are numerous diverse and enjoyable walks that start from The Shavings' doorstep, and wonderful market towns offering gorgeous local food and drink. This is a cosy and value for money holiday home for those who want to sample all that the Peak District has to offer.
There is wifi or internet access available at The Shavings in Buxton. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Shavings's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
