The Granary, a two bedroom cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a very good quality holiday property in a fabulous village location, just a short walk from the sea and coastal footpath. Located in the West Dorset village of Chideock, this cottage is set just off the main coast road, providing a wonderful base from which to explore the whole area. The cottage is just a short walk from the beach at Seatown. There is also easy access to the South West Coast Path which runs along this stretch of stunning coastline. The World Heritage coast, known as the Jurassic Coast, offers opportunities for fossil hunting, walking, fishing and many other activities. Those looking for rural walks will also find some exceptional countryside footpaths very close to the cottage. There are three pubs in the village, all serving food, within walking distance as well as a small general store. The West Dorset market town of Bridport and its bustling harbour at West Bay are only a 5 minute drive away, as is the lovely seaside resort of Lyme Regis. The village is well served with regular bus routes through the village and along the coast in both directions.
