On the south-eastern slopes of Dartmoor is the pretty village of Holne, with its 13th century church and Community Shop & Tearoom. On the edge of Holne, is Forestoke Linhay, a detached, barn conversion on a small working farm. With open moorland just outside the farm gates the location is perfect for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The cottage is simply furnished and full of character with exposed stone walls and wooden beams. The small and cosy lounge/kitchen/dining area is warmed by a wood burning stove. Adjoining the living area, there is a rustic conservatory where doors open onto an enclosed, terraced patio garden. From the twin bedroom, doors open onto a small patio and the double bedroom has extensive views towards the south coast, taking in Hembury and Holne Woods.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Forestoke Linhay's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
