Self catering holidays on the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is a very popular location for self-catering holidays.  It’s a combination of the lovely sandy beaches, chalk cliffs and green countryside that has resulted in the Island being such a popular holiday location. 

The Isle of Wight is a small island 23 miles long and only 13 miles wide, its small size hides the variety the island has to offer.  At its westerly top are the famous needles and light house, which is a must do location if you are visiting the Island.

Other claims to fame are the world famous Cowes week yacht races which attract visitors and competitors the world over.

You will see sand based souvenirs all over the island and you can even make your own at the craft centres. The Isle of Wight is a great family location with plenty of days out around the island such as theme parks, great beaches, Zoos, Steam Railways and many other attractions.
