Historic Stirling, newly created a city and Scotland’s heritage capital, is a 'must see’ for any caravan holidays in Stirlingshire. Boasting a mighty clifftop castle and some of the country’s finest churches and architecture amid the cobbled street of the Old Town, its scenic Black Walk pathway is well worth exploring. At nearby Abbey Craig, climb the 246 steps of the Wallace Monument and you’ll be rewarded by stunning views across Scotland from the Forth Bridges to Loch Lomond.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Forest Hills Resort, Kinlochard. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, a real off the beaten track get away from it all. A wonderful place for a great holiday. The resort offers something for every age and scenery that can never be beaten. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the setting of this resort - opportunity to relax and explore. On-site facilities good including food at Rafters Bistro. Lovely walks around grounds and close by. Visit to Wee Blether Tearoom is a must!

Beautiful, peaceful setting but with plenty to do for both young children and teenagers including a programme of activities for 5 to 12 years and adults. Not far to places of interest, Inverary Gaol & Stirling Castle were great! Fantastic accomodation, looks like it has recently been updated/upgraded, good food and freindly, helpful, efficient staff - a great place for a break!
